At the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), Poland proudly showcased its commitment to sustainable development and climate action. Under the theme of “Poland’s Way to Sustainable Development and the GreenEvo Program”, the delegation highlighted innovative approaches and technologies designed to address global environmental challenges.
Keynote Address by Mr. Paweł Jaworski
The session began with an insightful presentation by Mr. Paweł Jaworski, Director of the Department of Adaptation to Climate Change and Urban Policy at the Ministry of Climate and Environment of the Republic of Poland. Mr. Jaworski emphasized Poland’s integrated approach to sustainability, focusing on balancing economic growth with environmental protection. He highlighted the GreenEvo Program, a flagship initiative aimed at fostering the development and international promotion of Polish green technologies.
Spotlight on GreenEvo Technologies
From 10:40 to 11:10, the spotlight was on GreenEvo technologies, as key representatives from Polish green tech companies introduced their solutions. This snap presentation was a testament to Poland’s capacity for innovation and collaboration on the global stage.
